The staff at Foundation House form a
base of expertise that is drawn upon by a range of organisations
both nationally and internationally.
When Foundation House
was established few similar services existed, so building
an appropriate and skilled staff team was a primary goal.
Foundation House continues to invest heavily in professional
development and benefits from a remarkable pool of talent.
With a range of professional backgrounds and talents, the
staff at Foundation House are at the core of its success.
The Direct Services arm of the organisation is structured
into three regional teams that provide services to refugee
survivors of torture and trauma. Alongside Direct Services,
the Service Innovation Program team works with refugee and
wider communities to develop new programs of capacity building.
The work of the Refugee Health Research Centre, a partnership
with LaTrobe University, completes the nexus of direct service
provision, innovation, research and policy development. Meanwhile,
the Agency Operations team manages the overall administration
of Foundation House.
